🎶 The Kálnoky Castle concert series continues - 'Summer Season' starts this summer! 🌞

✨ The Kálnoky Castle Concert Series returns in the summer of 2025 with a new special season: as part of the "Summer Season", the public is invited to themed concerts in one of the most charming places in Transylvania, in the garden of Kálnoky Castle in Micloșoara. The aim of the series is to bring great moments from cinema and music in a unique setting, performed by world-renowned artists.

The concerts will take place in two parts: in the afternoon at 17:30 with prosecco and in the evening at 20:30 with dinner in front of a small audience of 60 people. The afternoon concerts will take place in a new location in the castle's charming palatial hall and guests will be welcomed with champagne. The evening concerts will still take place in the converted wine cellar room, where the candle-lit atmosphere and exclusive dinner will ensure an unforgettable experience.

June 6 - Inspired by ENYA
Diana Ichim (piano), Magdalena Suciu (violin)
The ethereal sound world inspired by Celtic traditions that has soothed millions of people around the world. ENYA's music - such as "Only Time" or "May It Be" - soothes and uplifts, now in a special adaptation for chamber music.

July 4 - Inspired by Hans Zimmer
Gáspár Csaba (violin), Tóth-Györbiró Apor (cello)
The master of modern film music, who has composed for famous films such as Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean and Interstellar. The concert will bring to the foreground the balance between grandiose and lyrical elements in the dialog of the two instruments.

August 8 - Open Air VANGELIS
Szőcs Botond (piano), Magdalena Suciu (violin), Tóth-Györbiró Apor (cello)
A special open-air experience under the starry skies, with light effects and ambient lighting. The electronic music of Vangelis - such as for the movies "1492: Conquest of Paradise" or "Blade Runner" - will provide a monumental and spiritual experience.

September 5 - Renaissance Coldplay
Diana Ichim (harpsichord), Gábor Előd (violin)
Coldplay's greatest hits in new versions: on baroque instruments in a historical style. A surprisingly successful meeting of past and present - focused on emotion and re-imagined pop.

🏰 What makes the Summer Season special is that several successful concerts from previous editions will return - in a new context, with a fresh approach, and new artists will appear in the fairytale world of the castle. The aim of the series is not only to provide a musical experience, but also to encourage cultural encounters, community building and the rediscovery of timeless melodies.
