🐠 Szabó Miklós’s graphic art exhibition

How can a country’s entire fish fauna be presented through graphic art? 🔍 

This exhibition by graphic artist Szabó Miklós offers an impressive answer and will be open to the public starting June 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., as part of the Public Hunting Collection.

✍️ The works on display were created for the book titled “Magyar halkönyv” (The Book of Freshwater Fish of Hungary), a reference publication released in Hungary. The illustrations took over four and a half years to complete and required approximately 4,000 hours of work. Each drawing faithfully captures the distinctive features of the species depicted, combining the precision of scientific documentation with the expressiveness of graphic art.
The album was published in 2025, and the selection presented in the exhibition brings the public closer to the diversity of life in Hungary’s freshwater habitats.
