The People Are Running Again!

On October 16, we’re putting on our running shoes once again and inviting you to a special urban adventure: the 3rd edition of Sepsi Inst. Run is coming!

Theme: The Communist Era

Why this theme? 

Sfântu Gheorghe has gained a new cultural institution: the Red Star Museum of Communism has opened its doors, and we want to be part of this important event. That’s why both the start and finish of the run will be at the museum.

A New Route, Old Stories

We’ll visit buildings and places in Sfântu Gheorghe that are connected in some way to the period before 1989.

Factories,
school corridors,
shops,
and other important institutions and public spaces will all be part of the route.

Some were built during this period, while others are much older, yet they still have a lot to tell us about the era: through their function, transformation, or the events that took place there, they carry traces of communism.

This year, Sepsi Inst. Run once again brings the familiar, carefree “fun run” atmosphere.

There’s no timing, no competition in the traditional sense. But there is a group run, city exploration, a raffle and a quiz (we’re giving it another try this year – keep your fingers crossed! ).

Buuuut… we’ll let you in on a little secret: the first, second and third runners to cross the finish line will receive a little under-the-counter prize.

– 130 RON between October 6–13
Under 18: 50 RON
