The 8th Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland

On Friday, October 11th, at 6:00 PM, the opening and award ceremony of the 8th Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland will be held at the Transylvanian Art Centre in Sfântu Gheorghe.

The 8th Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland sought visual interpretations on the importance of balance and, conversely, the lack of it, in such a way that the artistic intention focuses on the social role of the nature of the image through the creative attitude.

The organizers welcomed applications from all those artists who, with a forward-looking vision, aim to renew contemporary graphic techniques, offering critical reflections on society.

In response to the call, 926 artists from 68 countries around the world submitted a total of 2046 works. The exhibition features the best works selected by the jury. In Sfantu Gheorghe, 140 works by 137 artists from 28 countries will be displayed. The event will also include an award ceremony for the winning artists.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until the 30th of November.
