Candlelight Castle: Movie Jazz
Kálnoky Castle awaits jazz lovers with a unique musical experience: the Candlelight Castle concert series will create a unique atmosphere on the evening of October 19, 2024, starting at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The ticket for the concert at 16:00, accompanied by Prosecco, costs 150 lei, and the concert at 19:00, which can be heard during dinner, costs 300 lei.
At the Kálnoky Castle, jazz lovers are invited to a musical dreamland: the Candlelight Castle concert series will create a unique atmosphere this evening. Between the walls full of history, musical chords will take us to the magical world of movies, where jazz rhythms intertwine with emblematic songs from cinematography. The virtuoso interpretation of Csaba Gáspár on the violin and the artistic sensibility of János Kertész on the piano will insure an incarnate atmosphere. The public will be able to enjoy these familiar songs in the halls of the castle, enveloped in the candlelight that dances on the walls. The evening will be a celebration not only of jazz, but also of cinema. The romantic atmosphere of the castle blends perfectly with the jazz improvisations, reinterpreting the classic soundtracks. The event offers a captivating experience for all those present, where music and film are not met.

At the castle, we recommend a tour of the Museum of Transylvanian Life, starting from 15:00 and 18:00; ticket price 30 Ron (CAN ONLY BE PAYED IN CASH).
At the end of the tour, after 15:30 and 18:30, you can take a seat in the wine cellar for a Prosecco or elderberry juice before the concert. The concert lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
