The Sibiu State Philharmonic - Symphonic Concert Season 2024/2025

🎻🎹 As part of the 2024/2025 Symphonic Concert Season, on February 28, the musicians of the Sibiu State Philharmonic will bring their high quality interpretation to the public. The public from Sfântu Gheorghe will have the opportunity to listen to a selection of works by Dvořák, Monti, David Popper and Pablo de Sarasate, performed by the prestigious classical music ensemble in the main hall of the Tamási Áron Theater, as well as to soloist Gódor Erzsébet on the cimbalom. The concert will be conducted by Hermann Szabolcs.

🎶 The award-winning Sibiu State Philharmonic is one of the most active classical music institutions in Romania. Since its foundation on January 1, 1949, it has performed thousands of symphonic, vocal-symphonic and opera concerts. In the last three years, its activity has intensified significantly, with the orchestra giving around 150 symphonic concerts in cities such as Sibiu, Bucharest, Deva, Mediaș, Făgăraș, Blaj and Sfântu Gheorghe.

🎫 Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Events Organizing Office of the city (Libertății Square, no. 1, Sf.Gheorghe) at the price of 40 lei and 20 lei respectively.
