About

On the Romanian National Culture Day, discover the charm of interwar Bucharest, once known as "Little Paris", in an exceptional cultural concept dedicated to the stories, music and bohemian atmosphere of that era. "Stories from Little Paris" - a special event, revives the elegance of bygone times through a repertoire of pieces inspired by the history, culture and spirit of this unique city.
The founder of the band, Monica Opra (soloist), together with János Kertész (piano), Alexandru Nuca (guitar), Szabi Gyergyai (bass ukulele) and Áron Éltes (clarinet, saxophone) approaches a varied repertoire, full of expressiveness, a musical journey through time, with the most beautiful and well-known songs from Romanian interwar music but also songs from interwar Paris, from the repertoire of the great artist, Edith Piaf. The special orchestrations of the pieces and the improvisations of the professional instrumentalists will surely conquer the audience.
