50 warm meals per day for healthcare workers

As a result of the pandemic, those working in the local tourism and hotel sectors, together with the Hotel and Restaurant Units Association from Saint George (SVESZ) and the Covasna County Tourism Association have offered 50 warm-meal menus to express their gratitude towards the workers from the Dr. Fogolyán Kristóf Emergency County Hospital.

“Nobody likes having to see a doctor or needing to go to the hospital and we don’t like being sick, but our lives might end up depending on them. This is especially true with the events from the past few weeks and months. This is what sparked us to express our gratitude towards these healthcare workers and offer them 50 warm meals per day for 10 days” – declared László Endre, vicepresident of the Industry and Commerce Chamber of Covasna County.

Tribel István, owner of Tribel FF, also thanked healthcare workers. “Currently, those of us who are working in Saint George’s tourism and hotel industry would like to show our appreciation and gratitude to those keeping us healthy during these times” - added the owner.

The Tribel FF, Bertis and Park restaurants have joined this initiative and together will help prepare a total of 500 lunches.
