Dasarath Basu arrived in the 11th century in Bengal from northern India. One of his scions, Raghunandan Basu, was reconfirmed the Zamindar & Jagir of Ulpur by the Moghuls in the 16th century. Shuvendu Basu Roy Chowdhury of Ulpur was a member of the same family, which was scattered into India and across the globe after the partition of India in 1947, when Ulpur became part of Bangladesh. Shuvendu married Countess Katalin Mikes of Zabola. A generous guesthouse, located at the foot of the Barca hills. It has a huge living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a dishwasher. The living room has a dining area and a seating area. Upstairs there are two double rooms with a double bed and three other rooms with a double bed and sofa, all with a minimalist design. There are also two bathrooms with shower cabins, equipped with the necessary, according to modern standards. In front of the house you will find a generous parking lot that can fit ten cars. Behind the house lies a huge yard, where you will discover a lot of wonders: Large terrace with tables and sofas for relaxation • Grill • Free WIFI • Sauna for relaxation • Tub • Other small houses for relaxation The electricity is produced by our solar panels. We have a charging station for the electric car. We recycle plastic, and we prepare the wet food fraction, i.e. the food we have left, for the animals. Casa cu Brău is Eco friendly.
