The father of Dávid Alpár had learned tailoring at the end of the eighties and after finishing school he founded his own tailoring firm at home. It functioned for a while, but as the regime changed and the country started importing and exporting more, stores were being filled with various cheap and low-quality clothing. So, change was inevitable. He had to start making products that could not be found on the shelves of higher-traffic companies. That is how he started making folk costumes. He first collected old, worn-out garments from the villages of the Baraolt/ Erdővidék historical region, and by reusing them made his first Szekler costume. To this day, materials are made with a traditional weaving loom and the garment is given to the customer according to the described specifications. In addition to folk costumes, the Dávid Alpár family also makes Hungarian full dresses, similar to the costumes that were worn in the 19th century. Currently, Dávid Alpár continues to practice the profession hoping that there will always be a group of people who will proudly wear these clothes, as they are an important part of our culture and is worth preserving.

Autumn Fair is the feast of the town, which is organized in the last weekend of August. In 2012 we went for its organization with a new team and with new aspects, having the purpose of offering for the people of our town and for the guests coming from the surrounding towns and villages as many new locations and programs as possible. As indicated by the name of the place, Kézdivásárhely was recorded in the Middle Ages as the centre of fairs, and in the course of the history the initial market of Torja became the meeting place of handcraftsman guilds, well-known handworkers and artisans. Due to this market-place was developed its unique centre with guilds worthy of the UNESCO World Heritage. The municipality of the town fulfills its tasks that from time to time summons the past filling the former market-place again and again with life. The Autumn Fair mentioned as the harvest of values organized once a year between the festivals of gathering and harvesting the crop is an excellent opportunity for this. The main field of the town days are the handcraftsmen exposition and the fair, since Kézdivásárhely is the place of guilds and traditions. For this purpose we assure for the marketer, handcraftsmen, who are wishing to sell their products, comfortable tents and stalls, besides we are preparing a clear series of programs, which attract different age groups and social strata to the central square. We are also abounding in big stage concerts putting together the repertoire in such a way that both young and older people can attend the concerts with pleasure. Home page: www.oszisokadalom.ro
