🍩 It is not easy to prepare kürtőskalács, although it does not have a secret recipe. It is said that – in addition to quality ingredients – the preparation and baking of kürtőskalács especially need the warmth of the soul and, of course, many years of experience.

The 8th edition of Kürtőskalács - Festival of Sweet Delights proposes to find again the “Kürtőskalács of the Year in the Szeklerland”  – a cake prepared according to a traditional recipe, but which combines authentic taste with the freshness of the present. This year too, the “Rethought Kürtőskalács” will be also prepared.

During the event you will have the opportunity to taste the best kürtőskalács (chimney cake); in addition to these, the festival will offer many curiosities for both children and adults: its program includes activities for children, concerts, as well as activities to preserve and promote the traditions of the region. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 🎨 🎻

Kürtőskalács is a festive dessert, and the celebration brings people together; we hope that it will be the same at the 8th edition of the Festival of Sweet Delights.

🍁🍂The Autumn Fair will also take place simultaneously with the Festival of Sweet Delights, which is one of the most pleasant and beloved episodes in the family program offer of the municipality of Sfântu Gheorghe, every year. In the Central Square, dressed in the velvety colors of autumn, young children find joy among the various programs and games.
