Apor Bath - Balvanyos Baths

💦💧 Nature's bounty is attested to by the Apor Girls' Bath in the Natura 2000 Ciomad-Balvanyoș area, a few minutes' walk from the Balvanyos Resort. The rarest type of mineral water in the region bubbles to the surface in a small area, with different chemical compositions and pH values. According to oral tradition, the power of the Timsós mineral water was once used to heal bleeding wounds, the sulphurous spring water to treat inflammations, and the low pH spring water containing free sulphuric acid to clean teeth. In rainy weather, you will smell rotten eggs due to the hydrogen sulphide.  These springs are considered unique in Europe.
