The MAGMA Contemporary Art Space started working on April 1st 2010, with a three years preparatory work, in Sfântu Gheorghe city - with the founders and runners of the space – Ágnes-Evelin Kispál, Attila Kispál and Barnabás Vetró Bodoni (till 2013).
MAGMA is an independent artist space and the works presented here are from the field of contemporary art, focusing on media art, workshops, experimental or improvisation music, artist talks, art pedagogy, guided tours, performances; The curators cooperate not only with those who come from the art field but also with musicians, philosophers, theatre, etc.
