Viața la stână

Program description: We will participate to a village program in Arcuș. We will see the Arcuș Village Museum’s unique and rich collection, accompanied by a short tasting of fire water and syrup. We will also be baking gingerbread and afterwards visit the fortress church in the village. Horse-riding is also available upon request.   Location: Arcuș. Duration: 5-7 hours. What to bring: comfortable shoes, change of clothes. Minimum number of persons: 4 persons Maximum number of persons: no restrictions. Lunch: upon request we can provide stew made in a cauldron or a snack from homemade delicacies (sheep cheese, sausage, vegetable spread, etc.)

Program description: we will spend the day in the area of Arcuș village and travel by carriage – we will be visitting a sheep farm. Along the way, we will get acquainted with different herbs that are considered gifts of nature. In Arcuș, Zoltán Bálinth will show us his museum, Arcuș Village Museum, and its unique collection.  Location: the area of Arcuș village. Duration: 6-8 hours. What to bring: hiking boots, change of clothes, shopping bag for herbs. Minimum number of persons: 4 persons Maximum number of persons: no restrictions. Lunch: upon request we can provide stew made in a cauldron or a snack from homemade delicacies (sheep cheese, sausage, vegetable spread, etc.)

Program description: on this day we will be exploring a traditional village in Covasna County. We will discover how the local people live and work, what traditional crafts are still practiced, we will learn about the curiosities of the area, drink a delicious and healthy herbal tea and also get acquainted with the community’s history. Location: Valea Zălanului / Arcuș / Bățanii Mici / Bicfalău / Măgheruș - the exact location will be selected in consultation with the group. Duration: full day program (approx. 6-8 hours). Difficulty level: easy hiking, walking. What to bring: raincoat, comfortable shoes. The program`s language: Hungarian, Romanian, English. Minimum number of persons: 4 persons.  Lunch: upon request we can provide a snack from homemade delicacies

Starting point: Târgu Secuiesc. Program description and route: Târgu Secuiesc, Cernat, Dalnic, Moacșa. Attractions: Târgu Secuiesc (Guild History Museum, House of Collections from the 19th century, historic city centre), Dalnic, castle church, Gaál mansion; Cernat, Pál Haszmann Museum (open-air museum), Ika tower, Virág watermill, Kászoni Mihály blacksmith's workshop, castle church, mansions; Moacșa, Óriáspince-tető (Óriáspince hill), Gábor Áron obelisk, Besenyő Lake.  Duration: 1 day. Difficulty: easy walking (5 on a scale of 1-10). Required equipment: raincoat, hiking boots.
