Transylvanian BBQ festival

We kindly invite you to the 1st official KCBS contest in Romania, the Transylvanian BBQ Festival! The Romanian stage of the American contest will take place in Covasa County, Olteni between 17-19th May 2019.

Those who will make a visit to Covasna County on the third weekend in May will have the opportunity to taste the appetizing beef, pork or poultry dishes with a unique taste and prepared for several hours in wood smokers, by slow smoking. The traditional barbecue, coming from South America, is gaining ground in the European gastronomy. Experts believe that this gourmet treasure brings together the traditions, but at the same time conscientiousness during the preparing process of the meat.

Beside the competition, you will be awaited with various programmes, such as concerts in the evening, programmes for children. So bring your family and friends!
