"I don`t think that many people will travel abroad so, this way domestic tourism will flourish" – interview with Gabriella Grüman Csíki, the administrator of Görgő Pension

We also visited the Görgő Pension in Șugaș Băi during our “Visit Covasna Safe Place” campaign, where we asked Gabriella Grüman Csíki, the administrator of the guesthouse, how was the business affected by the regulations introduced because of the coronavirus and her opinion about the future.

Could you tell us a little bit about the pension?
The pension has been operating since January 2007, with four rooms and two apartments. It is characterized by this good, beautiful environment, with fresh air, peace, relaxation, spiritual recharge. All this can be found here.

How did you adapt to the regulations introduced because of the coronavirus?
In my opinion, we didn't really have to adapt to the regulations, because since we operate, we only work with professional cleaning agents and each one already contains the disinfectant. What we did in addition was that we bought masks, disposable gloves and put small disinfectants in the rooms.

What have you been doing in the last period?
Like everyone else, during this period, we also made improvements, we gave a new look to the whole pension. We've made renewals that were already planned, but we haven't done it yet. And now due to this situation we have been able to finish them.

What recreational opportunities do you offer for the tourists who come here?
There are hiking opportunities, if it is required, then thanks to a riding school from Arcuș tourists can even go horseback riding. Here in Sugaș Băi there is a mini-golf course, a climbing wall, but there are also plenty of mineral water springs that are worthy of tasting. Then, if guests are tired, they can relax in the guesthouse’s jacuzzi and end the day with a good sauna.

What do you think about the future?
I am optimistic about the future, I don`t think that many people will travel abroad so, this way domestic tourism will flourish. I really hope that this will also help us to have guests.
